The Cock Show: Call out for artists
Via atomicrooster.ca
Attention all artists,
You are cordially invited to partake in the Atomic Rooster’s annual art expo, The Cock Show.
Thanks to the local artistic community, The Cock Show is establishing itself as an extraordinary art event, created by astoundingly unique ‘rooster inspired’ art.
New to the show? In brief - once a year The Atomic Rooster pays tribute to the almighty rooster by presenting an art expo made up entirely of pieces submitted by local artists looking to strut their stuff. Last year, 43 artists submitted work - the end result was stunning!
Cocky? Maybe, but it’s great fun and if your piece is voted as the favourite piece of the show, not only will you earn the right to be ‘super cocky’, the winning selection will be featured on our bar coasters. And if that isn’t something to crow about, we’re throwing in a $200 gift certificate for Wallack’s Art Supplies.
We accept all mediums providing the artwork is original and can be hung. Please drop off your masterpiece by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 17th. The vernissage for the artists, family and friends is on Tuesday, Sept 23.
