Capital Pride: Community Members at Large
Position Description
Reporting to the FestivalProducer, the Community Members at Largeis up to three individuals in the community invited to sit on the OperationsCommittee and provide additional perspectives and expertise to ensure asuccessful festival. The Community Members at Large would help torepresent different interests within the community that should be taken intoconsideration in the planning of the festival.
Responsibilities
- Provide an insight and challenge function on allaspects of the planning and execution of the festival
Qualifications
- Member of the Ottawa LGBTTQ community who has avested interest in the success of the festival
Volunteer Conditions
- Consentto obtain a valid Police Record Check (vulnerable sector)
- Availability: start as soon as possible and continue until final report is released
