Event Recap: Bundle Up

On February 20th we hosted a winter social in support of Operation Come Home. We invited community members to Bank Street to enjoy hot drinks, music, art, and support a great local cause. We asked everyone to bundle up in his or her favourite winter wear and join the Bank Street BIA and Operation Come Home for a heart-warming afternoon.  Event attendees were asked to bring winter clothing to donate to Operation Come Home. Overall, we were able to collect over 30 articles of clothing and someone graciously donated $100 worth of bus tickets.

We worked with Creativision who created beautiful beautiful string art installations for Bundle Up.

We received a video from last week's event ‪‎Bundle Up‬‬ and we'd like to thank Moojan H. from Carleton University's Carleton School Of Journalism for attending #BundleUp and creating this great video!

The Bank Street BIA partners with Operation Come Home to raise awareness about youth homelessness in Ottawa.

We'd also like to thank Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor Catherine McKenney, Eric the Intern from CHEZ for attending the event. Thank you to Bridgehead Coffeehouse, Mr. Churritos, and of course Operation Come Home for your support and participation.
